We believe that it is important that the children learn about the world around them. To help achieve this goal, the children visit various places in our community throughout the school year.
Some adventures include field trips to Lyman Orchards for apple picking, The Fairgrounds, Chatfield Hollow, and a local farm for hayrides and pumpkin picking. We have fun visiting with the Coginchaug High School Band, walking to the Durham Public Library, and watching how pizza is made at Carmine's. The children enjoy participating in seasonal activities like trick or treating at local businesses, caroling for seniors, sledding, and kite flying.
